was opened for the 2013 Season on Saturday May 25th by Mr Rick Hall
Chairman of the BRM Day Committee and Mrs Ranna Patel Chairman of the
Len Pick Trust.
The successful BRM Day held in Bourne on October 7th 2012 to celebrate
the 50th Anniversary of the towns former Formula 1 Grand Prix team BRM
and their Driver Graham Hill winning the constructors and Drivers World
Over 26,000 people attended the event including two F1 world champions
Damon Hill, Graham's son and former teammate Jackie Stewart. Proceeds
from the day were divided between two nominated Charities, one of which
was the Outdoor Swimming Pool.
The Pool has
gratefully received £25,000 from the BRM Day and a further Grant
from the Len Pick Trust of £15,000 has enabled much needed repairs
to the screed on the bottom to be carried out.
